In 2026, stackable grants for energy transition in French-speaking Switzerland can reach 15,000 to 25,000 CHF depending on solution and canton. But you need to know the right levers, deadlines, eligibility conditions — and how to file an application that gets approved.

The 3 levels

  1. Federal: Building Programme + One-Time Payment (RU) for PV.
  2. Cantonal: each canton has its own schedule.
  3. Municipal: certain communes offer additional premiums (Geneva-City, Lausanne, Lutry, Meyrin, etc.).

Key takeaway. A well-prepared application maximizing all three levels can double the grant amount vs. a federal-only request.

Federal: Building Programme

Covers heat pumps (~4,000 CHF), thermal insulation (25-70 CHF/m² by component), and CECB Plus audits (1,300-1,500 CHF).

Federal: PV One-Time Payment (RU/PRU)

Paid by Pronovo after commissioning. Replaces the former RPC removed in 2023.
