Privacy policy

Data collected

We collect only data strictly necessary for the purposes described below:

  • Form data: name, first name, email, phone, postal code, city, message, project description. Voluntarily provided through quote, contact, simulator or newsletter forms.
  • Technical data: IP address (anonymized), user-agent, locale, submission timestamps. Collected automatically for security and fraud prevention.
  • Analytics: via Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no transfers outside Switzerland) or Google Analytics 4 if you consented.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Process your quote or contact request (legal basis: pre-contractual performance / consent)
  • Send you the newsletter if you subscribed (legal basis: consent)
  • Improve the site and our services (legal basis: legitimate interest)
  • Comply with legal obligations (accounting, archiving, etc.)

Retention period

  • Unconverted quote requests: 24 months after the last interaction.
  • Client files (invoices, contracts): 10 years (legal accounting obligation).
  • Newsletter: until unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.

Recipients

Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It is accessible only to authorized Ecotech personnel (eco-advisors, technical team, accounting) and our technical subprocessors:

  • Vercel Inc. (hosting) — USA, garanties contractuelles RGPD
  • Resend (email delivery) — UE
  • Anthropic PBC (AI chatbot) — USA, garanties contractuelles
  • Plausible Analytics (analytics) — UE

Transfers outside Switzerland / EU

Transfers to subprocessors located outside Switzerland / EU (notably USA) are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and the Data Privacy Framework, in accordance with FADP and GDPR.

Under FADP and GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure
  • Right to portability
  • Right to object
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time
